Simplified model for embedded rails. Technical-experimental study with corkelast
Abstract
The article is a study of the characterisation and mathematical modelling of the behaviour of the ?Corkelast? this material is used among other applications as an isolator of vibrations in the embedded rail. The dynamic characteristics (frequencies, dumping and vibration modes) of different test specimen have been obtained by performing modal testing in order create F.E.M which can be used in the analysis of a complete rail. The frame of this work is the vertical and cross stiffness of the rails.
