Active deflection estimating in single-ribbed floors made of reinforced concrete, according to Spanish Standards EHE and EF-96

Abstract

This paper develops a simplified procedure for estimating the Active Deflection of single-ribbed floors made of reinfor-ced concrete, wich are frequently used in building. The starting point is the data and values that can be obtained from Technical Data Cards of every floor type, following the directrices of Spanish Standards EHE and EF-96, and by the aid of single calculations, the Active Deflection can be estimated.
